About this service

Priority search of whole registered titles. This service enables applicants to apply to search the Land Registry and register a priority pursuant to section 73(3) of the Land Registration Act 1982 and in accordance with the provisions of Rule 113 of the Land Registry Rule 2000.
 
You will be provided a reference number once the form has been submitted and you must commit payment -by telephone or BACs and notify the Land Registry of this payment before your application will be accepted. If you have an account you indicate the intention for the £10 to be credited against that account then we will do so.
 
You will be notified to the email provided once the priority application has been processed. The presence of a priority search will appear on the TitleLocator the following day.
 
At present this service is only applicable to Priority searches against a whole title made by Advocates. Priorities protecting an interest in part of an estate only or made by Applicants in person should be submitted in paper form in Form 35 accompanied with a Plan, Payment and Form 100.
